Taiwanese Savory Rice Pudding

Ingredients

Zailai rice powder

165 g

Corn flour

85 g

Boiling water

900 g

Lard (or vegetable oil)

Sugar

1 tbsp

Salt

1-2 tsp

Universal minced meat

Marinated eggs

Mix Zailai rice power and corn flour in the large bowl, then add 300g of cold water and stir evenly to form a slurry.

Put 900g of water into the pot and boil, then turn to low heat and add lard, sugar, salt and stir well.

Slowly pour the slurry into step 2 and stir while pouring.

Stir continuously until the batter becomes a thick translucent bowl rice paste.

Scoop the bowl of rice paste into a bowl and spread the minced meat on top Put a cup of water in the outer pot, press the power button.
When power button pops up, put the garlic sauce and marinated egg on the steamed bowl of rice pudding.
